What you need for notarizing documents
When you use our Phoenix mobile notary services, there are a few things to keep in mind
A notary’s main purpose is to verify the identities of individuals signing documents. They also ensure that signatories do so willingly. Therefore, each signatory must provide a valid photo ID, such as a state-issued ID card, driver’s license, passport, or military ID. Arizona law requires these IDs to have been issued within the past five years. Regardless of the type of ID used, it must include a photo, physical description, signature, and serial number.
Supply your own documents
You provide notaries with your own documents, such as sworn statements, copies of certificates, affidavits, powers of attorney, advanced health care directives, and last wills & testaments. Templates for these documents are widely available for download, or you can obtain them from a qualified agent. Fill in the blanks but do not sign until a notary can witness the signing.

Demonstrate willingness & knowledge
A notary ensures that each signatory willingly and knowingly signs documents without coercion. Signatories must demonstrate understanding of the nature and significance of the documents being signed.
Show ability to communicate
All signatories must be able to communicate in English. If translation is needed, please inform us so we can assist you. While documents can be in any language other than English, the notarial section must be in English.
